Not only is this a great hotel, but the staff is extraordinary. I was impressed enough to leave a review on several different sites, and was shocked when the general manager responded to my review personally. Then, scanning through the rest of the page (this was on TripAdvisor), I found that the manager had responded to -each and every- comment on the page, positive and negative. The responses contained specificity, were very polite and gracious, and were very personal. You don't find this kind of service very often, even with small businesses.

I'm someone who is always tempted to hate big businesses right off the top, but this hotel has gone above and beyond and has garnered my total respect. Personal service at a huge business is a shock. How often are you pleasantly shocked? I will never stay anywhere else when I'm visiting Long Island, and will always recommend this hotel first and foremost to friends and relatives.
