What a great place! The name was what brought me here. After a long time away from the east coast, I really, really wanted a lobster roll when I got here. I don't actually like lobster, but my boyfriend kept pointing at this place and begging us to go in there, cause he is a huge lobster roll fan. He loved it of course. I ordered the clam strips though and they were awesome! The Lobster Roll is a delicious restaurant. Be warned, the prices are not low. There are a few other restaurants on the island with similar names, and it is easy to mix them up. But their food is very good. Lobster rolls have been my very favorite food since i was a boy growing up on Long Island. When I moved away for a while, I really missed them. They become a very nostalgic thing for me, especially since they are next to impossible to find anywhere else in the country. Why oh why does this place have to be so expensive? I just had to stop in here and grab a bite when I found a restaurant called “The Lobster Roll,” because let’s face it—lobster rolls are one of life’s little pleasures. An expensive little pleasure, but nonetheless, sometimes you just gotta have one. They serve a lot of great stuff here: lobster rolls, fried clam strips, pufferfish, burgers, sandwiches … I recommend sticking with the sandwich menu if you’re on a budget. Lobster Roll Restaurant has a lot of gourmet specialties in its menu and not just lobsters! They are a great place to wine and dine. I love seafood, so when I'm getting a craving for it I head out to Lobster Roll Restaurant with my family. It's a little expensive so we can't go very often, but when we do we aren't sorry we did. I've gotten the lobster before, but I usually get clams or oysters, my wife likes to get the flounder, and the kids usually get chicken or something, they aren't big on seafood.

Lobster Roll has many other things on the menu apart from Lobsters, which are delicious. I completely recommend the wine you get there – the Chivas Regal you get is fantastic! Lobster Roll Restaurant is where I head when I want a good Chiva’s Regal, and some lip smacking lobster fry to sample. The ambience is perfect for single diners and people with families in tow. There is jazz in the corner, the waiters are perfectly trained and seem to get you dishes in a jiffy. I love their food so much; I make it a point to dine there at least once a week.
Last week, I had my parents over and we went to the hotel. They loved it too. You must try them at least once.
And oh yes – you have shrimp, egg, lamb and chicken too. There are veggies as well. So, do not think the Lobster Roll only serves the lobster roll!
