Wow, what's that one person talking about with the fries? They have outstanding fries. I don't know, maybe they've changed something, because that review looks pretty old and maybe it's out of date. All their sides are good! The sandwiches are the best. Love this restaurant!

This place is named for their lobster rolls, which is very appropriate, because they make them very well. The lobster is cooked right, they don't skimp on the meat, and the rolls are tasty too. Their other sandwiches are also delicious. And they have a very nice atmosphere.

There's another restaurant in town with Lobster Roll in its name, so I was thoroughly confused at first because I thought this page was for the more expensive one. I was actually going to post a review for that restaurant here when I realized, "hey, this is another place that serves lobster rolls!" So I drove on down to Montauk to check it out, and am I glad I did or what! It may not be as gourmet as the other lobster roll place but it's far more affordable, and that means I can come here much more often. I love diners too, so the atmosphere just makes it even better.

Well, I live near the Lobster Roll Restaurant in Montauk, just a few blocks away to be exact. I really enjoy seafood in general, but my absolutely favourite dish is the lobster roll. Well, they are so yummy that I can not get enough of them. They are really soft and tasty, they do not stuff you at all as they are light and without any extra fat. There are also shrimps and calamari and other seafood available at the Lobster Roll Restaurant but do try them if you visit the place. You will be glad that you did! The prices are great given the great quality of all the dishes and the sizes of the portions in general. They are a delight!

When I first saw this place ... I was overcome with glee! A diner ... an old fashioned diner ... that does seafood! And moreover, it's called LOBSTER ROLL. Lobster rolls are some of the most amazingly delicious sandwiches ever created, and they have a whole bunch of different types. The hot lobster roll is definitely my favorite. You can't go wrong with any of their other entrees too. The flounder is another standout. Sometimes I come in here and I have no clue what to order ... everything is just so tasty!
The only drawback is the fries. And that is a hefty drawback, since I LOVE fries, so that's a whole star off. They just aren't very good. And good fries are something I expect from any diner. There are plenty of other good alternatives though; I recommend the onion rings.
