We've needed a little more help around the house since dad got sick, and a lot of it is stuff we can't do ourselves. L.I. Care at Home has been sending someone out to see us, and she has been so great with dad, and really helped to relieve the burden of his care. It's been much easier to get stuff done around here, and dad's actually doing a little better now that someone is working with him who understands his condition. When my mother got injured and remained in bed for a whole month, we thought that we would have serious trouble with her aid. We were boith working, me and my wife that is, and we did not have anyone to look after my mother. We did not love the idea of someone completely stranger to us being left alone with her. however, our friends told us about L I Care at Home and we gave it a shot, as we did not have much choice, anyway. Well, the services were absolutely superb. My motherreally liked the woman that looked after her and she only has good memories of her. In fact, they have kept in touch and still chat over the phone.
