Lewin Strawberry and Peach Farm is a somewhat unusual place – and a heck of a lot of fun, especially if you bring your kids along. For some reason children find a particular thrill in picking their own berries (I always have to stop mine from picking under ripe or over ripe berries when we’re hiking), and if you bring yours here, they are guaranteed to have a blast. You can pick your own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, peaches, tomatoes, and much more, purchase them, and go home. It’s pretty cool cause you can make sure you get only the best—you don’t have to put up with under and over ripe fruits and veggies like you do when you buy from a grocery store, and they are much fresher, juicier, sweeter and tastier than anything I’ve bought at the store. It’s an educational, fun day out, and of course you get the food. If you don’t want to pick your own, they do have a farm stand where you can shop too. The prices are great. What you can get is seasonal of course. I recommend dropping by their site first so you can see what’s in season. Have fun! Share Your Review
