I was none too impressed when I saw this restaurant the first time. I thought they looked pretty mediocre based on their décor, which is minimal. I thought, “This is just going to be some meh Indian takeout.” Boy was I wrong. Their kebabs are awesome. Especially cannot get enough of the lamb one. The chicken tikka boti one was also really excellent. Some of the kebabs are expensive, but most of them are super cheap. I love that you can order them by the stick (not just as a meal), so you can get several different types and try them all. I am still trying new things here, and loving it! This place is so much tastier than you’d guess!

This is one of my all time fav restaurants. Some of the most authentic Indian food around. Service is hit or miss. It depends on what day you’re there and who’s working. The food varies too. There are some things which seem to be made in-house and others which are ordered from somewhere else. The in-house food is the best. Try the fresh grilled kebabs, or the biryani.

Lahori Kebabs are the best kebab center in NYC. Catering to the large Indian and Pakistani population that resides in NYC, the kebabs are spicy by American standards. However, the succulent meat and the grand experience makes it up for the seasoning that burns your mouth.
Would I go there again? Yes, with a huge pack of sweets and candies to regulate the spice! Yes!

I’m an Indian food fan! And no problem if Lahore is Pakistan based. I still love the food and feel they are similar in spices and seasoning. The kebabs at Lahori Grill are awesome and must be savored at least once. We get good succulent lamb there for low prices and the ambience is great for a bunch of friends looking to get back the old times together.
