I have a child who attends Kovacs. She's in the first grade, and she is doing so well. Dance is not really her favorite thing, but I like her to be doing something extracurricular, and she is very good at it even with moderate enthusiasm, so those teachers must be doing something right. She does enjoy her recitals, and looks so adorable in her dancing outfit!

My little daughter Stacey is in the first grade. She always was spinning around in the living room like an adorable little top, so we figured out that maybe she wanted to dance :) We found out about Kovacs Studio from a friend. The studio only works with really little kids. I don't even think it goes past the first grade.
They do competitive dance, which at first we were worried might be a little intense, but she's really been thriving off of it. I think she gets more of a sense of accomplishment from her dancing and the teamwork with her friends in the studio than she does at school. So I'm really grateful we found her an outlet.

This is a private competitive dance company which is open to Kindergartners and First Graders. They also take Second Graders in a limited capacity. It was great for my little girl until of course she outgrew it. It definitely got her off on the right foot (pun intended). She looked so adorable on that stage! And it helped her to find her next opportunity.
