My wife and I decided that the perfect touch to our new Long Island home would be a real brick fireplace. I dabbled in masonry when I was younger, but I knew I didn't know enough to install a good fireplace and chimney, but i can recognize good work when I see it and I was impressed with John Scott Masonry Corporation's portfolio.

I got in touch with the company and we had a consultation where I told them what I was hoping for aesthetically, and they made some recommendations to me about the most effective chimney for my house. I was very pleased with the plans they drew up, so I hired them for the job. They did an amazing job. The chimney is very efficient and the fireplace is beautiful. It gives our home a focal point and makes for a wonderful living room to entertain guests. We feel so cozy coming home after a long day at work just relaxing in front of our fireplace!
