When I was a kid, I loved going to the pool, but I hated the neighborhood pool, which was kind of ghetto. I always wished I had a pool in my backyard. Fast-forward 40 years in the future and after twenty-five years as a lawyer, I can finally afford my own place. I found the perfect old house to buy and fix up, but no pool in the backyard. So I had one put in specially tailored to my needs. John Joseph Custom Pools did an awesome job listening to my specifications and choosing a spot in my yard and a shape which complemented my garden. John Joseph Custom Pools is awesome. They have one of the cleverest web interfaces/planning tools I have ever seen. If you load their website, you will see a section called "Build a Pool." It gives you a little graphic of a pool, and you can click and drag and change its shape, lighting, materials and more. It's such a cool idea, and I can't tell you how many times I played around with it before I finally figured out I HAD to go through with it and get a pool of my own. We used the design I had come up with, with a few simple modifications so it would fit better in my yard.
