My mother recently rediscovered a long lost family heirloom, her grandmother's lost golden locket. Turned out it was up in her attic collecting dust. When she found it, she was thrilled, but it was very corroded with time, and she thought there was nothing that could be done. Neither of us wanted to damage it. I took it to Johanna's Jewelry though, and she was able to get it polished and cleaned very well. It has a bit of a shine again, which surprised us! It probably hasn't looked this good for many decades now. And it didn't get scratched up at all, even though it is made of very soft, pure gold. Johnanna's Jewelry not only sells jewelry but also does custom work including repair and cleaning services. One of my heirlooms from my father was a gold watch which had been through a lot of wear and tear over the years. I took it in to get it fixed when the hinge on it broke. The watch was repaired quickly and at a low price; so I also had it cleaned, and I am amazed at the polish. Great place if you have something precious you need worked on with care. Share Your Review
