Our son's mitzvah was a wonderful experience for all of us - everything went exactly as we planned it, including the photos! This is THE photographer to choose for a mitzvah, since it's their specialty! A friend warned me when I was shopping for a photographer about how badly things can go if you hire someone who doesn't know anything about mitzvahs. It took some research, but I finally found out about Jo-Art, and so glad I did.

We hired Jo-Art for our daughter's mitzvah. It's the main thing they do, which is great. When we hired a photographer for our son's mizvah several years ago, it was a big disappointment, since the guy specialized in weddings and didn't really know his way around a mitzvah. He had no clue what it was about or what was important to capture :( This experience was totally different. The person who worked the event knew exactly what to do and where to go, and mingled comfortably with the guests. They took a little longer getting our prints ready than we would've liked, but the results were fantastic. So if you are looking for a mizvah photographer, I would highly suggest Jo-Art. It's such a relief working with someone who actually specializes in mizvahs--believe me, it makes all the difference in the world!

It's very cool to find a photographer who specializes in bar mitzvahs! They captured every moment of my son's very special day, and the photographs are beautiful! We will be using them again in just three years for my daughter's bat mitzvah. Highly recommended.
