Our son's mitzvah was a wonderful experience for all of us - everything went exactly as we planned it, including the photos! This is THE photographer to choose for a mitzvah, since it's their specialty! A friend warned me when I was shopping for a photographer about how badly things can go if you hire someone who doesn't know anything about mitzvahs. We hired Jo-Art for our daughter's mitzvah. It's the main thing they do, which is great. When we hired a photographer for our son's mizvah several years ago, it was a big disappointment, since the guy specialized in weddings and didn't really know his way around a mitzvah. He had no clue what it was about or what was important to capture :( This experience was totally different. The person who worked the event knew exactly what to do and where to go, and mingled comfortably with the guests. They took a little longer getting our prints ready than we would've liked, but the results were fantastic. So if you are looking for a mizvah photographer, I would highly suggest Jo-Art.
