I currently have three of my children enrolled at Jefferson. All three of them are receiving good grades, have challenging assignments, and report that they enjoy attending class. Having met their teachers on teacher-parent night, I can say I honestly was impressed by the quality I saw in the staff members at the school. So far we are very pleased with Jefferson. My daughter Jody attends Jefferson elementary school. It's a better school system than the one she attended in Queens, and a nicer neighborhood too. Jody was our primary consideration when we decided to move to Long Island. We felt that Queens was a bit too busy and not as nice as some of the LI neighborhoods. She does seem a better fit with the kids in Jefferson elementary, and she seems happier here than she did in Queens.

In terms of the curriculum, I have no complaints. She's learning everything I'd expect a fifth grader to be studying about history, english, science and the like. I'm very glad we made this move. Share Your Review
