What is up with Audry T? Lol, this is not a hotel? And no comment on the rest of what she said, ugh.
The food here is okay. It's not as exciting as the food I remember from my favorite Chinese food restaurant back home in Alabama, but it's not bad, and the prices are really awesome. I also love the $5 lunch special. It's nice being able to eat out at a place near my office without spending my whole paycheck trying to get fed.

For those who are looking for authentic Chinese food in NYC, Jade Garden is your answer. What is refreshing about the hotel is that – finally, a Chinese hotel that is clean and hygienic! Don’t take me wrong please, I’m not trying to be racist, merely factual. And I do go to occasional Chinese Restaurants that are ‘plush and stuff’ but very dirty on the inside. So the cleanliness here is a respite and a surprise!
The food is great, since I’m a Chinese cuisine aficionada. :-D My wife loves dining out and since I’m sick of having cereal everyday, I take her to Jade garden where she’s acquired a taste for Chinese food. Its awesome and I love it. In fact, I’m planning to write them a letter of appreciation too.
You must try this place for sure. On my part, I’m happy and highly recommended!

This restaurant is a combination of good and bad.
Pros:
The prices are really low. I can get a lunch special for under $5. How awesome is that?
The service is fast. This is a great place to eat during the workday since I actually get to spend most of my lunch break eating and not waiting for my food to arrive just so I can rush through it.
Cons:
The food just isn't that good. It's acceptable when I'm in a rush and don't know what else I feel like eating, but it's not something I'd deliberately go out of my way for. The broccoli dishes are disappointing, and being a big broccoli fan, that annoys me. The food is greasy, they like to put on a lot of soy sauce, but otherwise not so flavorful. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's not great either. Really it's a very average Chinese food place. Nothing to write home about, but nothing I'd avoid either.
