This is one of the most consistent restaurants I can think of that has stayed great through all the years it's been here. It's one of the longest standing neighborhood diners in the area, and while they have gone through some changes, they have always kept one thing the same, and that's quality. Best breakfast you are going to find. Eggs are always fluffy and they give you hearty helpings. The waiters make you feel warm and welcome.

I never ate here back in the old days. Everyone talks about how it used to be different, but still good. All I know is that I love it as it is right now, and I can't imagine it ever having been better. These guys do breakfast right, and the atmosphere is perfect too. They make some of the best bacon ever.

Yay for Home Fries! One of my favorite places to eat before the management change, and still one of my favorites after the change, which is a shocker, because as the other reviewer said, usually it is a disaster. In this case however, the food has actually improved, and the atmosphere is nicer too. I love Home Fries because they do what I enjoy best - diner food. Breakfast at any hour, and let me tell you, there are few things more satisfying than breakfast at night. I come here several times a week with my friends just to hang out, feel comfortable, and enjoy some warm, delicious savory breakfast food.

Usually when a restaurant comes under new ownership, it's cause for panic, but in this case it actually panned out pretty well. I was a big fan of Home Fries even before the changeover, and after (it happened last May), it has become an even better restaurant. Food here is what you'd expect given the name--breakfast. I love their bacon and eggs. A lot of their meals are really simple, but well prepared and always very warm and comforting. They open around 8 in the morning. Funny I've heard people whine about that; seems plenty early to me, especially since I'm not a morning person. I am a "breakfast for lunch" kind of guy, and they're open when I eat lunch, which is all I could ask for.
