A fun afternoon activity for the family. We loved exploring the sculpture garden. There was a lot of really amazing stuff to see there. I am glad we discovered this fun place. They look like they have a lot of cool activities for the kids too. We'll have to explore that more when we come back.

Hofstra Museum in Long Island is a noteworthy tourist attraction. It is quite renowned for its artifacts, the relics, and the all-American paintings and murals that are displayed solidly on the walls. I love them for their services and Hofstra Museum is sure a great place to spend your weekend with your children.
If you are looking for a day out, there are huge lawns near the Hofstra Museum and you can pitch up tents, and camp there. There are eateries in the vicinity too, for you to enjoy and have fun during your time there. I would highly recommend the Hofstra for a one time visit.

I was looking for something fun to do with my kids on a three day weekend, and we ran into the Hofstra Museum on the university campus. At first it didn't seem like it'd be much; it's just a museum on a campus. But it turned out to have some really nice exhibits and some fun activities for the kids. The sculpture garden really is very lovely; my youngest adored the animal sculptures, and both my children really liked the "Great Art Caper," a scavenger hunt/mystery game which they could solve as they walked through the sculpture area. They even won a prize at the end! Definitely something nice and affordable to do with your children. Mine are already excited to come back.
