This department store has been around since I was a child. I remember my parents bringing me here while they did their shopping for around the house, and now i'm the one shopping for my house! I love this department store! They have two historic locations on either side of Long Island. I would never go to JC Penny or Target when I can go to Hildreth. They have all the stuff you'd expect to find in a major department store - bed & bath, lighting, furniture, fabric and so on, and they also have some unique regional stuff like driftwood to decorate your home. It is a very lovely shop, and I highly recommend popping in if you've never been there. If you're a local, it'll quickly become one of your favorite stores.
