I have really been into Greek food lately, and have been trying every gyro place I can find in search of the best. I'm not sure whether this one is the best or not (there are a few close contenders), but they are definitely up there near the pinnacle. The gyros are huge and have tons of meat in them, and the meat is very tender and flavorful. The yogurt sauce is delicious. When I eat in, the service is wonderful, and when I take out, the kitchen is fast.

There's nothing good I can say about the service here. The servers are rude and do not really care much about their patrons. The food is really good though, and the portions are HUGE, and I mean HUGE. My own platter was enough to feed me for two nights. My husband wolfed his down, but he does that. Our kids both had a ton of leftovers, so most of our dinner for the next night was taken care of. Next time we go back, we'll just get takeout so we don't have to put up with the service, because the food was a great value.

I have had (mostly) good experiences with this restaurant. It's kind of expensive for a place that serves gyros. Expect to pay around $10 for your meal. The food is good though and you get a lot of it. The gyros are jam packed full of tasty ingredients. My only complaint about this restaurant is that sometimes they slip behind schedule, and I mean way behind. I called in a takeout order once and they said "Half an hour." I got there in half an hour and had to wait another twenty minutes. So that was pretty bad. It only happened once though, and I've been here at least a dozen times. All other times I was happy with the service and with the food.

If you are looking for excellent Greek food, then look no further. Gyro Palace Cafe has the best in the area, and you can't go wrong eating here. They have the absolute best when it comes to falafel!
