When I walked into Gary's Jewelry, I was nervous, because I didn't know the first thing about jewelry. When I left, I felt completely different--very reassured, and a lot smarter. I had been to several other jewelry stores earlier in the day searching for the perfect engagement ring for my fiance, and I left them all empty-handed, because the sales people didn't seem like they knew what they were talking about--or like they wanted to share their knowledge even if they did. That made me uncomfortable.
The salesperson who helped me at Gary's was smart, friendly, fun, and dedicated to teaching me everything I could possibly have wanted to know about diamond engagement rings. Something else I appreciated was that she didn't try to hard sell me on anything. She described a whole range of rings in different price brackets, and told me exactly why they costed more or less, and explained the scales for inclusions, color, and other stuff that determines diamond pricing.
When I left, I had the best ring I could possibly have afforded in my price range. I will be coming back here when it's time to buy my wedding ring (she said yes!).

Prices are expensive, but it's a lovely store with beautiful things. They have pretty much any gemstone you could want, and everything is of a very high quality. The customer service is also excellent and very knowledgeable. If you inquire about the history of the diamonds and other gemstones, they'll tell you exactly where they came from.

I came in here in search for the perfect gift for my mother for her 50th birthday. Pretty big milestone to hit, so it seemed like I should get her something really special. I passed by Gary's Jewelry on my way to and from work each day, so it seemed logical to start somewhere that was convenient. I was immediately impressed by the customer service. Someone was there to help me right away, and gave me a lot of great suggestions. Eventually I chose something with my mother's birthstone, sapphire. I used to think sapphires only came in blue, but they actually come in a whole rainbow of colors. My mother's favorite color is yellow, and they had yellow sapphire. So that's what I gave her. She loved it and said it was a very personal gift. The fact is, it was only possible through very personal customer service at Gary's Jewelry.

The minute I walked in the door, I knew everything was goig to go just right. I was greeted like I was an old friend stopping in for a visit. The conversation went just like I was talking to my best friend in my living room. Made me feel like I was special, and their only customer, even though there were several others in the store. I noticed they were treating everyone this way, so I'm sure we all felt special.
I told the salesperson what I was looking for, and they picked out several pieces for me to choose from, and did it with a smile. When I asked to see more, they didn't get all grumpy on me like they do in some stores. They were happy to accommodate my every desire.
The prices are competitive with other stores, I didn't find them to be overly expensive. They won my business, I will be going back for future purchases.
