You know your average Chinese restaurant? Food is okay, but nothing to write home about, and sometimes it's rough on your digestion? And yet, you go back, because it's convenient?
This isn't it.
This place is way above par. I wasn't expecting much when I first walked in, but the owner greeted me and was awesome. He was willing to modify a couple of his dishes more to my liking, and they were delicious. Since then I have been back three times, and each time I have enjoyed as much, or more, than the last. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. This is a very good one!

I rarely find a Chinese restaurant which actually satisfies me, but Fung Young is excellent. The owner is super friendly, and he does all the work around here - the cooking, the customer service, everything. I can't imagine how he gets it all done, but he's never slow, even when the restaurant is busy, as it sometimes is during the peak dinner hour when everyone is getting off work. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, and it's a nice place to just sit down and enjoy a quiet meal.

I regularly eat here. This restaurant is older than I am--it's been around for like 30 years or something. It's a large, pleasant restaurant, not a little cramped hole in the wall. They do a wonderful job with seafood. The owner is very nice and everyone who works here always makes me feel welcome. The owner is also the chef, which is cool - he's actually listened to my feedback on his food and takes a personal interest in his guests.
