This is one of those weirdly good chain restaurants that I'm almost ashamed to say I love. Usually I try to steer clear of corporate stuff, but Friendly's seems to have a good business model and tasty food. At first I just came for the sundaes, but now that I've tried their sandwiches and fries, I'm having a hard time staying away. It's also a very relaxing diner type environment where I feel comfortable hanging out and enjoying myself with no hurry to get out of the restaurant. I hate feeling rushed while I eat, and the staff here never makes me feel like I have to move on and get out.

I am an ice cream hog and Friendly’s are my favorite place to meet up with friends and have fun over ice cream cones. I love the ambience and idea of having a cone too many at affordable rates.
