I love sushi restaurants where you can get specialty rolls. The selection here is one of the best I've found in the area, though there are a few good choices around here, and the prices are also in line with my expectations. At the lower end some of the simpler rolls are very cheap. The more elaborate rolls are expensive, but so absolutely worth diving into your wallet.

If you are into sushi rolls, this is THE place to eat. They have so many different types, and they aren't that expensive. I hate when I find a menu full of rolls and they are all $15+. Not here. Most of my favorites are closer to $6-10. Really filling too--they don't skimp. They stuff them full. Really good!

Like sushi? I sure do, and this is my sushi restaurant of choice. I really recommend that you try it if you haven't yet. They have one of the biggest menus of rolls I have seen, and some really good stuff in there. The sushi is very tender, and has that melt in your mouth consistency. Service is always on par with the food, which means excellent in this case.

Excellent Japanese food, very authentic tasting despite being made by Chinese people. I love their rolls, and they do offer some outstanding deals on some of them. The price range is very broad, so you can come in here and only spend a little or you can spend a lot, depending on your taste and how much is in your wallet. I warn you, it's tempting to break the bank here--so many tasties to try!

It's actually called Fatty Fish Sushi, and of course, it's a sushi restaurant. Located in Glen Cove, it's open a lot later than most of the other restaurants here. I find this handy since I work late sometimes, and when I come home, I like that I can still stop in and get some sushi as a reward for my overtime. The restaurant is Chinese-owned, but their food seems pretty authentic nonetheless. I actually used to live in Osaka, so I know what good Japanese food tastes like. This is on the whole one of the better restaurants where I've eaten in the states. It reminds me of the time I spent in Japan, which is nice. I really miss it.
What should you order if you eat here? The Long Island roll with the lobster is superb, though it's also a bit expensive ($21!). Some of the less expensive rolls are really scrumptious too. The 007 roll is awesome, and I think that one is only $9.
