When I need some canned veggies and other stuff along those lines, I come to Family Dollar because I can buy canned foods here really cheap. They also have a great deal on Gatorade (the one and ONLY sports drink; I hate that Powerade stuff). It's a lot more expensive at the grocery store, and I need it in bulk since I work out a lot, and it makes me feel a lot better after my workouts. I also have bought a lot of socks and underwear here. I have never understood why socks and underwear are so expensive in most stores, even at places like Walmart. It's really weird.

There are definitely areas where the Family Dollar is a bit lacking though, so I can't give them five stars. Like if you want housewares, they are pretty hit and miss. Mostly miss unfortunately. I have never been able to find any housewares here that I've come in looking for. I wanted a mop one day, nothing. Never found a rug for my foyer either. Well, Family Dollar is a nice place where you can get your hands on some really cheap products. There are lots of cooking supplies and bath accessories, some of which can be really handy and trendy in design. There are some options for really affordable gifts, just so you do not show up empty handed and feel awkward about that. Family Dollar has saved me from quite a few difficult situations like that and I know. There are also some canned food, like dog foods, which I use for feeding the dogs in the neighborhood and they are quite cheap and nice, as I can tell. Sodas, snacks and many many other products available at really low prices. Great discount store that you should at least consider visiting. Share Your Review
