I come from a whole family of dancers, so naturally I wanted my little daughter to get an early start. She's three years old, and dance Odyssey has a special program for children aged 2 and a half to 3 and a half, called Creative Dance. The program teaches the children basic movements and coordination, which can really help build a platform for grace and skill as children get older, and instill a sense of creative focus and fun. My daughter is too young to really let me know whether this is something she wants to do with her life or not, but she seemed to have a good time in the class, so I think I will enroll her in tap next.
