I've always had plenty of curves, but never really in the right places. I got sick of trying fad diet after fad diet on my own and ended up coming here to work out and find a personal trainer to help me out. Did it cost more to do it this way? Of course. But was it worth it? Without a doubt, yes. I can't tell you how much easier dieting and working out are if you don't try to go it alone. If you've been struggling to get the figure you want, seek some professional guidance and a community of people who are trying to do the same thing you are--in a smart and healthy way.

I love this program! I didn't think I was ever going to be able to lose weight, but it made me realize that it was because I had bad expectations. I really thought I was supposed to be able to lose weight overnight - too many girly magazines I guess. Plus my friends always seemed to have better luck at it than I did, but now I know I don't have the same body type they do, and also that I had more weight to lose in the first place. I've learned it isn't realistic to expect to lose twenty pounds in a month (or safe, or healthy). I've lost five pounds a month for three months now and I am happy with that. All forward movement!

Curves! Who doesn’t want them! Guys long for a glimpse of them, and girls want them everywhere in their body! Curves also is a gym in Long Island, that you must frequent if you want good curves!
When I went to Curves, I had very low expectations and that is why I’m happy today. I had a couple of friends who were fat penguins and wished to turn to svelte Angelina Jolie overnight, which isn’t going to happen obviously. They are disappointed and I’m not.
What I mean to say is – you might find reviews here that blast gyms for being unprofessional and stuff! However, what makes the difference is that you know what you gun for and expect good results, that will determine your experience. And yes, give it some time to transform you into a diva!

It's my wife who enrolled in this program - not me, obviously. From my point of view it's been a mixed bag. Being the money maker, it does annoy me a bit to see our funds draining toward some weight loss program. On the other hand, my wife actually is losing weight for the first time in a decade, and she seems to be much happier with her self image. Of course, she's always been gorgeous to me, but I'm glad she finally is starting to see herself more positively. She has also made some friends, which is good because she finally has some ladies to hang out with when I host a guys' night at our place.
