Both my parents live at Cold Spring Hills Center. They aren't as happy there as they were at home, of course, but we don't have enough room for them in ours unfortunately, and we had to put them somewhere where they could get some real care. The staff at the center are very kind and provide expert care, and we know they're in good hands. It is the second nursing home we have sent them to, and they are more pleased with this one than they were with the first one where we sent them, so that is something. I hope we can eventually install an addition to our home for them, but in the meantime, this place will have to do.

My mother has been staying here since she was in a car accident last year. She needs physical therapy on pretty much a daily basis, so she needed a live-in situation. I know that she hates the decor (this place is like any other rehab or nursing center; it's kind of depressing to look at), but she's been very grateful to the PT specialists for their amazing help. And that's all that's really important in her case. She should be able to come home in another month according to her doctors. So they deserve a huge thank you for the work they've done.

My mother who has Alzheimers needs long term care from professionals in order to get through her day. For a while she stayed at Cold Springs Hills Center. It seemed like a nice enough place, and the care she received was professional, but we had to relocate (moving her as well) and she has seemed better adjusted since then in her new nursing home. Not being an expert on Alzheimers, I'm not sure why that is, but if the new place gets four stars, I figure this one gets three.
