I had a pipe burst in my basement by my water heater. It was not only a flooding problem, but also dangerous because of the hot water. So I had no choice but to get it taken care of straight away. I called three, no, four plumbing companies before Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I had people say to me, "Can you wait three days?" Or "We can get someone out there in a week." And so on. Didn't they understand this was an emergency?

BF Plumbing was the first company I called where the customer service person understood that my situation was dire, and she was very kind and understanding. She checked the schedule and figured out that a couple of things could be moved around without inconveniencing anyone, and had a technician out to see me in a matter of hours. By then the mess was pretty bad, but nothing like it could've been if I'd had to wait a whole *week*. The technician was fast, well equipped, and did an excellent job patching the pipe. I had just started my washing machine, when some neighbour called me for help. I left the house in a hurry and came back after an hour or so to find out that there had been a leaking in the washing machine and the whole place was filled with water. I panicked but my friend offered to help me. After cleaning up the mess, we called the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they came right away. They were prompt in locating what the problem was and dealing with it. They did not over charge me for their services and they were thoughtful enough to check with me the following days, to see if everything was running smoothly.
