Worst bank ever. Let me tell you my story of horror.
So, I didn't have a lot of money in my bank account because, you know, unemployed in the recession. To be exactly I had about $100. So I go in there to withdraw $70. $100 minus $70 is $30, a positive balance, right? Right? WRONG. The bank teller does some stupid error--an error anyone could make. She pushes enter twice or something on the withdrawal order, and so what happens? The teller hands me $70, but the system posts TWO withdrawals of $70 for a total of $140.
I didn't know this of course, because no one bothered to inform me. No one knew it'd happened, until the system finally notified someone to send me a snail mail notification that I had been charged $10 a day for having a negative account balance for four days. So now I'm out $70, and losing money by the day! It's a Friday when I get the notice of course, so I race on over to Bank of America to tell them what happened.
It takes me an HOUR of sitting around before they talk to me, and another HOUR of dealing with the manager before they finally figure out what happened and manage to reset my account balance and get rid of the fines. So I wasted my entire Friday trying to fix this stupid situation which wasn't my fault to begin with, and all because some teller's finger slipped and the system wasn't programmed to inform them there had been an error.
Why should it take two hours to get something like this remedied? I had bills I had to pay, and here I was worrying that the bank had turned my account into a black hole of debt.
Never again. I left Bank of America a week later and joined a local credit union. I haven't looked back.

The tellers at Bank of America go out of their way to assist you. I only have a savings account with them right now, but might look into opening further accounts just because of the way I am treated when I go in.
