Surprisingly good restaurant which I really believed was going to be just another bagel spot. There are so many, but this one is different. The food is outstanding!

This is one of the only bagel restaurants I know of that actually has a website, and a pretty nice one too. I found out about it from a friend at the Synagogue. It's a kosher restaurant. They definitely go above and beyond the usual call when it comes to bagels. Bagel sandwiches are generally not something I get excited about. They're good, but I always thought of them as a fast bite before work or whatever.
I actually come in and sit down here and have a real meal. That's how good their food is. They do these awesome smoked fish bagel sandwiches with salmon, white fish, or tuna. So tasty it's amazing. A bit pricey, but it's fish. You can either order it on a sandwich or you can buy it by the pound and take it home! If you get it on a sandwich, the price is VERY low.
And then they've got the usual breakfasts and standard bagel sandwiches, most of the items around $5.00 or less. Tasty stuff, and cheap.

I rely on Bagel Plaza for all my bakery needs. Whether it is a quick takeover of pizzas and goodies for my kids, bread for the dog, or a nice evening out with friends with gossip over sandwiches and cols, Bagel Plaza is my first choice always. They have always the best bread on supply, they are great at making bagels, and I’m happy with the prices they charge too. Overall, I guess I would keep coming here indefinitely, and urge you guys to try them too. They are definitely the best of the best!

I get up really early in order to wake up properly and head to work. I do not seem to get quite a meal for breakfast. I do not like corn flakes or toasted bread with butter and jam and stuff. The one thing I like having for breakfast, I can find in Bagel Plaza, which is a great bakey and bagels store in Merrick, right a few blocks from my house. It makes the most delicious, freshly baked and soft bagels I have ever tasted. I put on some cream cheese and it melts in my mouth. It is a healthy way of starting your day, full of energy and without feeling too stuffed. It is reasonable priced and it offers some top quality services!
