This is an awesome organization to join if you're a local artist! I paint, and I was totally on my own, and always felt like i wasn't a part of the community. After I joined this group, that all changed, practically overnight. I started finding out about events and exhibits, meeting people, and generally getting my name out there. I'm so glad I joined! AIP is a nonprofit co-op for local artists. I joined and was stunned to find that there are literally hundreds of other members! I thought I'd be kind of lost in the crowd as it were, but I actually have found that AIP is a wonderful way to make professional connections and even a few new friends. I'm glad there is an artistic community to belong to here on Long Island. I've even managed to sell a few paintings. Share Your Review
