If you’re living on Long Island and you’re a fan of The X Factor, the television music competition created by Simon Cowell, you may be interested to know that X Factor auditions are coming to Long Island. Think you have the chops to compete? The initial round of open-call auditions will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the 25th of April. So you have just under a month to get ready. Rumored judges for the next round of X Factor include John Mayer and Katy Perry, but nothing is confirmed as of this point.
To compete in the open call audition, you will need to get an authorized wristband, which will be distributed beginning at 8 in the morning on April 23rd. The last opportunity to get the wristbands will be 11 am on April 25th. You are not allowed to camp out at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. After you receive your wristband, you will need to return to the site by 7 in the morning on April 25th so that you can audition to perform on the show. So if you’re a musician living on Long Island, here’s your shot at reaching a wider audience and maybe getting famous!
