In an effort to bring real world experience from experts in the industry, Elephant Networking, Inc. & First Equity Abstract Corp recently hosted a “What They Didn’t Teach You in Real Estate School” workshop for agents and brokers. The event was an unparalleled success.
Real estate agents and broker/owners from all over Long Island gathered at Zicana, a sheik new upscale marble and interior design company located in Westbury, to hear from experts in the industry on avoiding pitfalls and spotting trends in today’s housing market. Speakers included real estate attorney Matthew Greenblatt, Wells Fargo home mortgage consultants Lauren Bele & Dawn Cameron, home inspector Tony Sabatino from Sundance Home Inspections & Michael Diaz from Nationwide Credit Counseling.
“Our goal was a value added conversation and an opportunity for like-minded people to come together and share their thoughts and experiences,” said Valerie Lampe, President of Elephant Networking, Inc. – a company devoted to business networking. “We received such positive feedback we are going to make it a monthly event.”
“The objective is to bring together the best experts in the industry and have them talk to agents and brokers about things to look for that will ensure the deal closes and best practices to protect themselves as business professionals.” said Rafe Lieber of First Equity Abstract – the event’s MC. “We had a high energy crowd and great speakers which made for an outstanding conversation.”
The next event will be held at Zicana, 58 Sylvester Street in Westbury, on Thursday April 4th from 9:30am – 12pm. The featured speakers will be MLS President & Coldwell Banker Broker Kevin Leatherman – consistently listed in the top 1% of Nassau County producers and Andrew Saluk, business loan specialist with NEFCU – Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union.
