Long Beach Breast Cancer Coalition Presents “Walk for a Cure” Sunday, May 20 on the
Long Beach Boardwalk; Walk, Bike or Run to Find a Cure
For immediate release:
Long Beach, NY – May 8, 2012 – The Long Beach Breast Cancer Coalition will hold their annual “Walk for a Cure” on Sunday, May 20. Registration and check-in begins at 10am at Riverside Blvd. and the boardwalk, with the walk beginning at 11am. Registration fee is $25 with the first 75 registrants receiving a free t-shirt. Applications can be found at www.longbeachbcc.com.
All are welcome to walk, bike or run along the beautiful Long Beach boardwalk to help find a cure for breast cancer.
The LBBCC (affiliated with Long Beach Medical Center) promotes awareness about breast cancer, advocates for increased funding for research to find the causes and a cure, and assists women with screening, diagnosis and treatment.
We hope to see you at the boardwalk on May 20th!
