Village of Islandia Honors Those Who Served during Veterans Day Ceremony
Who: Allan Dorman, Mayor, Village of Islandia
Local elected officials
Representatives from the Central Islip and Lakeland Fire Departments
Central Islip High School marching band
Local war veterans
What: Mayor Allan M. Dorman, a Vietnam veteran, will be joined by local elected officials, war veterans and representatives from the Central Islip and Lakeland Fire Departments in honoring our veterans at the Islandia Veterans Memorial. The Central Islip High School marching band will perform. Mayor Dorman will join elected officials and war veterans in placing a wreath in front of the memorial.
Where: Islandia Veterans Memorial Triangle
Old Nichols Road and Johnson Avenue, Islandia
When: November 10

Directions: LIE to Exit 58. Go south on Old Nichols Road for approximately 0.6 mile. Triangle is on the left.
