However, if you are looking for something unique, handmade or one-of-a-kind then you have to head over to the Tri-County Mall in Levittown for the Valentine's Craft & Gift Show. The show is presented by Nassau County Craft Shows and runs from Feb. 9 – 12 throughout the first floor of the mall. Find vendors of all types, from crafters to artists. You'll be sure to find something special for the people you care about or a sweet treat for yourself.

For a special Valentine's Day celebration dining option in Long Island, Tellers Restaurant in Islip has a treat for you! This classic and contemporary American steakhouse is offering a Valentine's themed menu running from Feb. 10 – 14 that includes a first course, main course and dessert.

For the first course, select between:

Shaved fennel and arugula salad;
Traditional lobster bisque; or
Duck confit risotto.

For the main course select between:

Porterhouse steak
Pan seared branzino putanesca; or
Crispy Long Island duck breast.

For dessert, select between:

Tri-color mousse or
Berries and truffles.

The food at Tellers Restaurant is sure to amaze you. On top of that, its atmosphere is quite a spectacle. The location was formerly home to a bank. The exterior of the building is stately, appearing like a temple with dramatic lighting. Its interior features 30-feet high ceilings and art deco friezes.
