Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Grace Potter of Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Tony award-winning Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell (whose new album “Simply Broadway” is available through Amazon.com and iTUNES) and Tony Vincent, Broadway rocker and finalist on season two of NBC’s “The Voice” performed at last night’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Citi PondSM at Bryant Park, helping to officially light the 55’ tall Norway Spruce, decorated in more than 30,000 LED lights.
Other performers who participated in the tree lighting at Manhattan’s urban winter wonderland included Broadway star Lisa Howard, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and U.S. National synchronized skating champions the Haydenettes, among others.
