Need something to do on the upcoming summer weekends? Starting in mid-June The Long Island City Flea and Food market will be open for everyone to come and enjoy food and shopping. Saturdays and Sundays this market will be located on a 24,000 square foot lot on the corner of 5th Street and 46th Avenue, making it easy to access for people from all over the Island.
They are planning on at least 100 vendors for the weekends, including some Long Island favorites, such as Malu Ice Cream and Manducati’s Rustica. In addition to some great food, you will be able to discover new artists and purchase from local vendors who will be offering unique crafts and products for you to purchase. Easy to get to from the 7, E, M, and G trains, as well as the East River Ferry, so it will make a great getaway for you and your family on a beautiful summer day.
