The Brookhaven Fair Opens for Three Weekends

The Pennysaver Amphitheater will be home to The Brookhaven Fair later this month. Starting May 24^th and running on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day for three weekends, the fair will be like a trip to a huge amusement park – just closer to home.

Strates Shows, the last great train carnival and the midway provider for the New York State Fair for over 50 years will bring its spectacular rides to the Brookhaven Fair. Favorites like the Swing Tower, Giant Wheel, and Wave Swinger will make their only area appearance these weekends.

Long Island doesn’t have entertainment like you can find at The Brookhaven Fair. Robinson’s Racing Pigs have been entertaining crowds for over 25 years. The Paddling Porker Show was created in 2000 and this act has the pigs swim race four at a time. Traditional pig races and the paddling porkers can all be enjoyed daily at The Brookhaven Fair.

The Grizzly Experience offers a look into the life of the Alaska Grizzly Bear. Yogi, Booboo, and Tonk will be live up close and personal at the fair. Tonk, a 600-pound grizzly bear, will perform daily shows at the Brookhaven Fair.
