A special Taste Wine & Dine Dinner is set to be hosted at The Living Room Restaurant at The Maidstone on Thursday, May 9th. The chef de cuisine, Mathias Brogie, will be cooking a special meal to accompany the wines that are being offered. Dinner reservations are being accepted for 6:30pm and 7:30pm.
The evening will begin with a tasting of six wines in a “special venue.” Wine Director Chris Miller has specially selected these wines for this evening. Guests will be able to choose 3 of the six wines to accompany their dinner. The menu for the evening will include:
First Course
Curry crusted pan-fried sea scallop with cauliflower purée
Second Course
Tenderloin Negimaki rolls with red beets, daikon, enoki mushrooms and nem sauce
Third Course
Grilled Arctic char in a pot a feu with spring vegetables and ramslok
Fourth Course
Slow baked hanger steak with café de Paris, steamed broccoli and semi dried tomato
Fifth Course
Chocolate ganache
The cost for this Taste Wine & Dine dinner is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity. It includes the five courses listed above, as well as your choice of three wines for the evening. Reservations are required, as space is limited at The Living Room Restaurant.
