Oakwood Automation Systems Adds a Vanishing Television
Line to its Growing Lineup of Innovative Home Electronics
Huntington Station, NY - Summer is best spent outdoors even after the sun goes down and the last swimmer has been called out of the water. Yet what do you do when the family wants to settle in and watch a great baseball game or the latest Blue Ray Disc™ on the television and you want to keep the party outside? Well, pour more oil in the Tiki torches because one Long Island company can provide you a beautiful high-definition wide screen television that's built to be outside no matter what the weather forecast is.
Oakwood Automation Systems, a leading custom home automation systems installer, has announced a new addition to its innovative product offering, the Séura (pronounced Seer-ah) line of outdoor televisions known as the "Storm" series. Engineered to protect against harsh outdoor conditions such as rain, snow, wind, insects, dust and humidity, these LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) TVs are tough and sophisticated. Available in 42-, 47- and 55-inch (diagonally) LCDs, the products are ideal for patios, decks and pool areas. And you don't have to wait until evening for optimum viewing because the ultra-bright 1080p high definition displays project a remarkably vivid picture even on sunny days. Home owners may enjoy the device later into the fall or even later since the Storm TVs can withstand temperatures from -30º F to 140º F. So even when you're not outside watching TV, you needn't worry about the television holding up to extreme cold or heat.
Equipped with 2 HDMI ports, VGA, and an ATSC tuner, Storm televisions can display content from many sources. Powerful built-in speakers fill outdoor spaces with high-quality sound. Users may choose to distribute the audio with Séura's built-in 2x10w amplifier.
"The Séura outdoor televisions are a big enhancement to outdoor living," said Jim Macri, president of OAS. "Imagine having a few guests over and it's one of those nights where you just don't want to bring the party inside. Well, with the Storm televisions, you don't have to lose that time outside in order to catch a great show or game, or worry about leaving the set outside. Even an errant baseball won't be a threat to these TVs."
Séura televisions are not available in electronics retailers. The company only sells its products through authorized installers like Oakwood Automation Systems.
