Suffolk Spca Requests Help For Medford Animal Rescue Case

The Suffolk County SPCA is requesting donations to help care for the animals taken from a home on Lincoln Rd in Medford.

Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk SPCA said that the agency, Town of Brookhaven officials and The Star Foundation removed over 150 animals from the home on Tuesday April 2nd and that quite a few of them are going to require long-term veterinary care.

Gross said that donations would be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of veterinary care and fostering the animals until permanent homes can be found.
