“Student Cartooning Exhibit”
Friday, August 3, 4pm Opening Reception; Work will be on Exhibit through Monday, August 6, 2pm; at the BHHS Archives Building, 2539A Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton
The Bridgehampton Historical Society is pleased to present the outstanding work by the kids that participated in the June Cartooning Workshop to the public, with an opening reception Friday, August 3rd, at 4pm. Sponsored by the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation, and taught by well-known East End cartoonist and scrimshaw artist, Peter Spacek, the cartooning workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by its participants, as evidenced by the great array of illustration work by the end of the week. This brief exhibit will highlight the final ink washed drawings by the students, which will hang among Addams originals, and be paired with doodles and photos portraying the rest of the week’s overall enjoyment.
Open to the Public. Free Admission. Refreshments will be served. Closed Sunday. For more information call 631-537-1088, visit www.bridgehamptonhistoricalsociety.org, or email bhhs@optonline.net.
