Huntington, NY --- Stephen Labate commented on his recent advancement in the Republican Party’s "Young Guns" program. He stated that, "for the past 18 months I have been working hard to help foster a change in congressional representation for the constituents of Congressional District 3 on Long Island. It's for that reason I am pleased to announce that the National Republican Congressional Committee, (NRCC), has advanced my candidacy to an ‘On the Radar’ candidate in the Young Guns program.”
A portion of press release from NRCC is as follows:
“We are looking forward to working with Stephen Labate, who has already proven himself by meeting rigorous benchmarks in the ‘Young Guns’ program that will position his campaign for victory,” said NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX). “Stephen Labate’s dedication and experience positions him to advocate for pro-growth policies and fight the failed Democrat status quo in Washington. This will stand in stark contrast to the Democrats’ record of spending, borrowing and taxing that New York families know has failed.”
“I am humbled by the vote of confidence that Chairman Sessions has expressed in my campaign, and I will do everything in my power to successfully defeat my opponent and help restore prosperity and jobs to Long Island”, responded Labate.
