Once school is back in session, the kids will be busy with school work and study. It’ll be challenging to go on family adventures together like you can during the summer. So, with the few weeks that remain before school is back in session, we feature savings opportunities for family dining and local attractions on Long Island.
- Boston Market is known for its family home-style meals. Head out with the kids to enjoy hearty, meaty sandwiches, scrumptious cornbread, rotisserie chicken and more. You can save $3 off any $15 purchase with this coupon (valid thru Aug. 30), a Free family dessert with a Family Meal purchased with this coupon (valid thru Aug. 27) and $1 off any $10 purchase with this coupon (valid thru Sept. 15). Coupons may not be combined.
- Dave and Buster’s is a place that combines eat, drink and play. Find a selection of good old American food, including pastas, burgers, steaks, seafood, chicken and desserts. Its entertainment attractions are also extensive. Visit the “News & Promos” section of its website to find deals such as buy a $1 star for Make-A-Wish and you get a coupon choice of $5 of free game play (with the purchase of a $10 game play) or a free appetizer (with the purchase of an entrée). The stars are available thru Aug. 26 and the coupon offer is for use on a return visit between Aug. 27 and Sept. 30. Also, if you make a visit on Wednesday, you can enjoy half-price games. This offer is available for a limited time.
- Splish Splash offers local amusement park fun. The water park has received recognition from the Travel Channel as one of the best water parks in America with its 96-acre land of fun. Save $6 off general admission and 10% off any gift shop purchase over $50 by clicking “Like” on its Facebook page for a printable coupon. You can also make ticket purchases online and save $3 per ticket (up to 6) by applying discount code 2012180, valid thru Sept. 3.
