Bridgehampton, NY (September 10, 2012) — On September 7th about 40 guests attended a private, by-invitation-only cocktail reception to present Building the Dream, the Capital Campaign for the East End Hospice Inpatient Facility, at The Bridge co-hosted by Roger Ferris and Robert Rubin.
With the beautiful Noyack Bay and Sag Harbor backdrop, Robert Rubin welcomed guests and told a story of hospice brilliantly, emphasizing the need for this building and his support of the project. Roger Ferris spoke as only he can, with great passion for the project and a true belief in East End Hospice’s mission and expansion. His story of first meeting Priscilla A. Ruffin, President & CEO of EEH, had the crowd laughing – by car, boat and plane!
Priscilla Ruffin announced that Building the Dream has raised over $5 million and the facility expects to break ground this fall. Guests were treated to a 3-D model of the building and questions were answered by Roger and Priscilla.
