Camp Hill, PA - July 15, 2014 - The Rite Aid Foundation announced today a $6,250 grant to the Arthritis Foundation, which has four offices across New York. The organization will use the grant to support its Summer Residential Camp Program, which serves nearly 300,000 children across the state affected by juvenile arthritis.
“The Arthritis Foundation is working to improve the lives of the one in five New Yorkers across the state who struggle every day with this debilitating disease,” said Gayle Rife, Manager of The Rite Aid Foundation. “Though a cure for juvenile arthritis hasn’t been discovered yet, the Arthritis Foundation helps children learn how to live with and manage their disease, helping to improve their quality of life, and that is why The Rite Aid Foundation is proud to support them.”
