Smithtown, NY 11787 –On January 22, 2012, residents at St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation Care Center celebrated Elvis Presley’s birthday with a sock hop. Residents participated in team games focused on 1950’s trivia. The Therapeutic Recreational staff served root beer floats and dressed in bobby socks and pedal pushers for the occasion. This was a fun celebration for the residents to enjoy some good music, entertainment and reminisce about fun times.
