Rep. Peter King Endorses Stephen Labate For Congress

Syosset, NY (October 9, 2012) – Earlier today, Congressman Peter King announced his endorsement of Stephen Labate in his bid for U.S. Congress.

Rep. Peter King, the ten term Congressman from Long Island, has been a supporter of Stephen Labate since the launching of his campaign.

“We need people in Congress like Stephen Labate who understand what this battle is all about and who will fight against big government spending and tax increases, while upholding the traditional American values and principles which have made our nation great.  Stephen has dedicated his life to serving our country and his sterling record of putting our country first is a quality sorely needed in Washington,” said King.

“I am confident that Stephen Labate will be a warrior for the people of the 3rd Congressional District, and I am proud to endorse him for the United States House of Representatives in New York’s 3rd Congressional District."

Labate said of the endorsement, “I am so pleased to have the support of Congressman King. He is the model of what good leadership looks like on Long Island, and I am privileged to have his endorsement. I hope that soon we’ll be working together in the halls of Congress to bring real solutions to the people of our districts on Long Island, and across the country.”

Stephen Labate is the Republican and Conservative candidate for Congress in New York’s 3^rd Congressional District. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and a Financial Planner. He resides in Suffolk County with his wife and two children.
