Lake Grove, NY - July 31st, 2015 - QuickChek and Muscle Milk have teamed up to raise funds to help post 9/11 service members and their families through an in-store promotion and sale of specialty Muscle Milk bottles.
Whitehouse Station, NJ-based QuickChek Corporation, a market leader in food services dedicated to serving its communities, is the only non-military retail outlet that is selling Muscle Milk “Hope for the Warriors” chocolate 14 oz. bottles in its 140 stores while supplies last. Muscle Milk will donate $1.20 to the Hope for the Warriors® for every case of the specialty protein nutrition bottles sold. Individual bottles will retail for $3.69 each or 2 for $6.00.
The Muscle Milk campaign follows a recently held in-store QuickChek promotion in which customers were invited to purchase paper dog-tags for $1 at any of the company’s store locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. The promotion ran from June 6 through July 18, 2015 to support Hope for the Warriors®, which is dedicated to restoring hope for service members and military families.
QuickChek also held a charity golf outing in June to raise additional funds for Hope for the Warriors®.
“We’re pleased to continue to honor and support our service members and their families who give so much of themselves,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned-company has raised millions of dollars to support a variety of causes benefiting children, families, and veterans.
All of the funds raised will stay in local areas to help support local veterans.
Hope For The Warriors® is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. “We strive to be the neighborhood shopping destination close to where our customers live and work,” added Durling, whose company’s commitment to “Total Customer Dedication” enables it to be part of the fabric of the communities in which the company has store locations. “As a good neighbor, we believe in helping those in need by giving back where we can and lending our support.”
