In today's economic crisis there are many businesses trying to create new marketing methods or looking at whatever can help to bring in more customers and revenue. One of the oldest methods of marketing, and building a business, is through the tried and true method of building relationships. At least, that is what Long Island businesswoman and top marketer, Saskia Monteiro Thomson is going to present at an October 9th dinner.
This dinner, hosted by the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, is being held at the Fox Hollow, 7725 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. Saskia Thomson will be the guest speaker and will present an insightful twist on the topic of building deep relationships as a strategy for long-term business development. This event is open to both men and women who would like to learn more about building deep business relationships. Registration can be done online at the Long Island Center website.
Thomson's presentation is titled “Beyond Lunch: How to Build Deep Relationships for Long-term Business Development." Thomson explains about the theme of her address as, “It’s not about meeting as many people as possible. It’s about meeting a small number of the right people.” The workshop also involves interactive elements and offers “best practices” to create more productive and enjoyable business relationships.
The Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women is hoping for a good turnout within the Long Island area.
