It has often been said that a family pet is one of those treasures of life that adds to the overall quality of life. It has also been said that when you give to something greater than yourself, your outlook on life is that much greater. When you merge the two then you not only have the great feeling of helping where you are needed, but also increasing the quality of your life. Pet Peeves, Inc. is set to hold their annual fundraiser tonight where you have that very opportunity.
Pet Peevec, Inc. is a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for Long Island's struggling animal shelters and rescue groups. Their annual gala is a fun auction fundraiser with many different items to bid on that have been donated from community businesses. This is also a great opportunity to network with pet lovers and business professionals.
The auction is held tonight at 6PM at Crest Hollow Country Club in Jericho. The event carries a cost of $135 at the door. This cost goes to defray the cost of the event and also go to support the Pet Peeves organization. This organization helps animal welfare and those who work tirelessly on behalf of Long Island's homeless and abused animals, as well as humane educational programs in schools.
